Harry Reid and other Democrats keep calling the protests astroturf, saying they are being organized by health insurance companies and Republicans.  The protestors have been called “stooges of the insurance industry” by White House aide Linda Douglas.  Nancy Pelosi says the protestors are carrying swastikas to the meetings.

Today Senator Harry Reid of Nevada introduced legislation to give Ford, GM, and Chrysler government loans totalling $25 billion at interest rates starting at 5%.  The only requirement… Executives making more than $250,000 a year must not receive bonuses.   The money will come out of the $700 billion TARP funds.  Also included in the bill is an extension of [...]
