The all-knowing Al Gore, creator of the internet extraordinaire, spoke here at Duke yesterday. The Goracle once again implored all to fight global warming because it is the greatest moral issue facing the world. A friend of mine made an interesting point. Liberals constantly claim that there is no moral absolute, that everything is relative, [...]

The climate change consensus is melting away before our eyes. Even the scientist implicated by the climategate emails is starting to crack.
Meanwhile, one of the scientists at the center of the climategate fiasco has called into question other issues that the climate lobby has claimed are indisputable. Phil Jones, who stepped down as head of [...]

I thought this op-ed in the WSJ was excellent. I definitely recommend reading the whole thing here.
A couple of excerpts.
Climate scientists failed to anticipate the absence of warming in the last decade, a point that Kevin Trenberth, head of the Climate Analysis Section at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, privately conceded in one of [...]

I can’t help but feel vindicated by the recent ClimateGate emails. If you haven’t heard about it see here. I’m not trying to argue that the global warming debate is over. It won’t die that easily. But, what comes through in these emails is that many of the leading alarmist scientists were cooking the books [...]

Some of you may have heard about the global warming report that has been suppressed by Obama’s EPA. Here is the author, Dr. Carlin, explaining one of the graphs to Glenn Beck.
As you can see, what temperatures are actually doing (blue and green lines) is much different than the UN and other alarmists have been predicting [...]

A team of prominent atmospheric scientists sent this Open Letter to Congress today .

You have recently received an Open Letter from the Woods Hole Research Center, exhorting you to act quickly to avoid global disaster. The letter purports to be from [...]

With two huge votes coming up, these articles should be required reading. The rest of the world is increasingly questioning the science of global warming, including France, Japan, Australia, the UK and other parts of the EU. Something I’ve been writing about on the blog for some time.

Also, Safeway has shown that health care costs can [...]

Obama already mentioned California as being a model for our energy future. As if that wasn’t bad enough, there is this never ending incoherence on the future of clean-coal and nuclear power in his policy. It is amazing anything ever gets accomplished in the energy industry.
From Senator James Inhofe’s blog:
On Wednesday, in his written testimony and oral [...]

Liberals like to call cap and trade a “market” solution to global warming. However, just because there’s a market doesn’t mean it is a free one. A market created by government intervention is hardly a “free market” solution.
As for the title of this post, nobody has any fond feelings for Enron. Many, and I wish [...]

This editorial from the WSJ is a must read.

There is no way around it. Because of the increases in the cost of doing business from cap and trade, a massive number of jobs will be shipped out to countries that are refusing to cap and trade. (China and India) The only way for the administration to [...]
