First, the CBO director says the budget is unsustainable.  From his blog:

So Obama finally states the obvious.  The federal debt load is unsustainable.  He also warned that interest rates may skyrocket. 
Really?  You think?  I just wish that Obama would have confessed that his spending programs are the reason for it.  Of course, he would never take responsibility for that.  That is Bush’s fault, like everything else [...]

Greg Mankiw had this little tidbit about Obama’s newest push for fiscal responsibility.

Obama is intoxicated.  He is intoxicated by power and ego.  The White House has already tried to turn Limbaugh, Santelli, and Cramer into punching bags, but now he’s so drunk that he has started calling on his liberal, progressive smear campaigners to target democrats who dared to oppose his stimulus or his budget.  See the [...]

Once again, Obama slammed over and over the Bush deficits, but the Bush deficits pale in comparison to Obama’s.  When Obama says he is going to cut the deficit in half, there is nothing impressive about that.

Can Obama possibly be any more arrogant?  The guy walks into the office and he’s already proclaiming himself to be Abraham Lincoln, FDR and Reagan all at the same time.  This budget is absurd.
