Every morning as I drive to work I listen to talk radio, usually NPR and sometimes KFI640. Without fail, every morning I hear of some new crisis and some new argument for some new expensive bill to create some new government program to save everyone who caused the problem in the first place at the expense of everyone else. I often yell at my steering wheel in disgust or vent to my boss when I get to work.
I finally realized I needed a spot to put my thoughts down permanently so I could think clearly again and go on with my day. I also noticed that there were others around me that felt exactly the same way. So we started Blurt Daily - a place where we can come and blurt out whatever is angering us so much in the realm of politics and economics.
We don’t necessarily support any government party. But, you will quickly notice that we favor the ideology that a small government is a good government. We believe that individuals with an unobstructed path are innovative and create wealth for themselves and, consequentially, for everyone else around them. We also believe that every citizen has a responsibility to become informed and question his/her elected leaders and the mass media that reports on their doings.
In short, there is a lot of junk being said and enacted by our leaders and media. This is a place for us to publicly get mad and say what’s on a lot of people’s minds. Feel free to leave your comments and discuss why you agree or disagree because there is so much to be mad at!!! (and some stuff to praise too)
