Marco Rubio is running for the Senate in Florida and is facing a primary against Charlie Crist. I’m hoping Marco Rubio runs away with it. Crist is another McCain. Rubio is the type of leader the Republican Party needs going forward. He’s young, but he appears to have a truly conservative record. McCain has endorsed Crist because Crist endorsed McCain. Rubio can help to broaden the appeal of the Republican Party and show that conservatism isn’t just for white males.
