I voted today. California politicians have the best job ever. They get paid to do nothing. They hand their job over to the people to make the budgeting decisions for them. I read the ballot last night and was annoyed at how poorly worded the initiatives were. Had I not done additional research, I probably would have voted yes on 1A. They should have said that 1A will be used to extend the tax increases on income tax, sales tax, and the car registration tax from 2011 to 2013. They never mention that so I fear it will pass. I think if people knew what they were voting for, they would vote no. Anyway, just wanted to get the word out. On a side note, my wife is a school teacher and currently does not have a job next year. 1A would probably help her get a job, but I believe in putting the betterment of society ahead of my personal gain. I wish more people would do that.
