I’m jumping on the bandwagon of some of our other authors, and I’ll post something that I’m grateful for. No, it’s nothing to do with the government. I am thankful for March Madness! I love this time of year. It’s so fun. I don’t watch college basketball all year, but I tune in to almost every game during the tournament. I have hosted some kind of pool for the past 6 years. I’ve had as many as 20 and as few as 3 in my pool. This year I am having 2 pools. There is something pure and uncorrupted about college sports and especially March Madness. Anyone can beat anyone. Everything each team has worked for all year only gets you to a seed and then you have to prove yourself all over again. It’s great and it’s American. So you know where I’ll be this weekend. Plopped in front of my couch watching buzzer beater after buzzer beater. Who do you think will win it all? I’m leaning toward Pitt, but Louisville looks pretty tough. You can’t forget the Tar Heels either…

Yes, March Madness! My friends and I entered an iPhone application development competition. We created an application called “March Mayhem” and it let’s you get live scores and news updates for the basketball tournament.
